Previously she worked as a University College Secretary of Uganda Christian University- Mbale (2011-2017) where she was directly in charge of Finance, Human Resources and Administration. During her time in office, the University’s financial and Human resources grew significantly with an asset base valued in billions of shillings. She also worked as the Project Director in a Compassion Assisted Project in Mbale; in civil service as Senior Assistant Secretary responsible for the District Land Board, while at the District, she was assigned other duties – like the District Veterans Officer, Chairperson of the Audit Committee, vote controller for statutory bodies (Public Accounts Committee (PAC), Public Service Commission and District Land Board) and a member of the Housing Committee. In her service, she received an award of merit of Mbale District Local Government; she also works as a part time Lecturer at Uganda Christian University;

Annet is the cofounder of Daughters of Zion an organisation helping to improve the plight of the girl child in Eastern Uganda; a Founder Board member of My Father’s House Children’s Home, an orphanage based in Nakaloke Town Council and founder member of Precious Kidz Kindercare Nursery school, all located in Mbale District.

Annet is a born again Christian and the Chairperson of Mothers Union at St Andrews Deanery Mbale where she also heads the married’ fellowship. During her free time she enjoys cooking for her husband and four children.

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Administration (Kisii University- Kenya) and holds a Masters degree in Public Administration; Bachelors in Social Sciences (Makerere University); a Diploma in Human Resource management (IMSAT), Certificate in Financial Management (UMI) and certificate in Administrative Law (LDC).
On top of volunteering with Inspired Women as Director Finance, she is currently self-employed, managing the family real estate business.
